Karate Tour of England, Belgium,
Malaysia and Singapore - September 2005

Following a very successful and exciting karate tour of New Zealand in April 2003, plans are
underway for a second overseas karate tour for members of Funakoshi Karate Australia.

Provisional dates for the 2005 overseas karate tour are: 15 September to 4 October.

Proposed countries to be visited include: Singapore, Malaysia (en route to and from England),
England and Belgium.

Proposed activities include:
* karate training with selected clubs in Singapore and Malaysia,
* shopping and sightseeing in Singapore,
* some sightseeing in Malaysia,
* tournament and training sessions with Funakoshi Karate UK and other clubs,
* some sightseeing in London (and other parts of England),
* gasshuku and training sessions with Funakoshi Karate Belgium and some sightseeing in Belgium.

People that have been selected to tour are the core Demo Squad including:
Sam Cowling, Leatham Robe, Dylan Nelson, Elise and Amber Archbold, Brooke Williams.

Other juniors: Sam Vallance, Annie Lumsden, Jeremy Keogh, Robert Raitt and John Hulin.

Seniors: Louise Acott, Catherine Woodard, Rachel Savery, Karina Allan, Mark Bourke, Mic
Murphy, Marcus Bell, Ben Mitchell, Shannon Kelly, Mic Murphy and Glen Hancock.
